Seit 2001 wird die ehemalige Fabrik in der Avenue Giuseppe Motta Nr. 20, welche seit mehr als einem Jahrhundert das Servette-Viertel in Genf mitpr\u00e4gt, von K\u00fcnstlerInnen, HandwerkerInnen, Kulturschaffenden verschiedenster Couleur und KunstmediatorInnen umgenutzt. Es handelt sich damals um drei Geb\u00e4ude (503, 503b und 503c), welche als Milchhof und B\u00e4ckerei sowie wahrscheinlich auch als zentraler Standort f\u00fcr Liefer- und Transportfahrzeuge genutzt wurden.<br \/>\n<strong>1910<\/strong> stellt der Architekt Edmond Fatio im Namen der SCSC einen Bauantrag f\u00fcr St\u00e4lle und Garagenr\u00e4ume.<br \/>\nVorgesehen sind zwei l\u00e4ngliche, parallele, zweist\u00f6ckige Geb\u00e4udefl\u00fcgel, die durch einen zentralen Gang getrennt und von einem gemeinsamen Glasdach \u00fcberdacht sind.<br \/>\nIm Erdgeschoss des Nordgeb\u00e4udes befinden sich St\u00e4lle, ein kleiner Raum f\u00fcr den Stalljungen, ein Lagerraum f\u00fcr Hafer und Werkzeuge. Vis-\u00e0-vis im S\u00fcdgeb\u00e4ude ist die Garage f\u00fcr die Fahrzeuge. Die Obergeschosse dienen zweifelsohne der Lagerung von Heu, eventuell auch von Waren.<br \/>\nDas Geb\u00e4ude wird nur zur H\u00e4lfte fertiggestellt: Den Pl\u00e4nen des Architekten zufolge sollte es 50 Meter lang sein, misst aber nur 25 Meter. Die hinter den neuen St\u00e4llen befindlichen Geb\u00e4ude 503 und 503b bleiben so vorerst erhalten.<br \/>\nEine Heizung wird in den als Pferdestall genutzten Geb\u00e4udeteilen installiert.<br \/>\n<strong>1912<\/strong> wird ein ein Haus f\u00fcr Wohnungen und Sattlerei im neoklassizistischen Stil zur Stra\u00dfenseite hin vor die St\u00e4lle und Garagen gebaut. Im Katasteramt steht folgende Registrierung:\u00a0 St\u00e4lle N\u00b0 1776, Wagen N\u00b0 1775.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-av_one_half-93bea18e2ccb60552a17080633244dec\">\n.flex_column.av-av_one_half-93bea18e2ccb60552a17080633244dec{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-av_one_half-93bea18e2ccb60552a17080633244dec av_one_half  avia-builder-el-12  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_full  flex_column_div av-animated-generic bottom-to-top av-zero-column-padding  '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-av_textblock-0366cc7376be6c9e82a3e9cc8987b64f '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>1920<\/strong> expandiert die SCSC und der vorhandene Platz f\u00fcr ihre Fahrzeuge reicht nicht mehr aus. Der Architekt L\u00e9on Belloni f\u00fcgt dem Geb\u00e4ude von 1910 an der R\u00fcckseite einen gro\u00dfen Anbau hinzu. Eine kleine Fl\u00e4che an der Nordseite bleibt frei, sie tr\u00e4gt die Bezeichnung \u201eGarten\u201c.<br \/>\n<strong>1924<\/strong> erfolgen Umbauten um die St\u00e4lle in Automobilgaragen umzuwandeln.<br \/>\n<strong>Zwischen 1929 und 1930<\/strong> erfolgt eine weitere Vergr\u00f6\u00dferung des Geb\u00e4udekomplexes, wieder unter der Federf\u00fchrung von L\u00e9on Belloni.<br \/>\n<strong>1957<\/strong> tauscht die SCSC das Grundst\u00fcck gegen ein anderes der Stadt Genf.<br \/>\n<strong>1958<\/strong> vermietet die Stadt Genf den hinteren Raum an die in der Nachbarschaft ans\u00e4ssige Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Compteurs Electriques (SODECO).<br \/>\n<strong>1961<\/strong> erh\u00e4lt die SODECO das Baurecht. Der erste Stock beherbergt wegen der auf Grund des Glasdaches hervorragenden Lichtverh\u00e4ltnisse die Malereiateliers und Arbeitsr\u00e4ume bildender K\u00fcnstlerInnen.<br \/>\nDort, wo die R\u00e4umlichkeiten dies gestatten, bietet sich den darstellenden K\u00fcnsten Platz f\u00fcr Proben, Lichtinstallationen und B\u00fchnenbild.<\/p>\n<p>Durch die Umnutzung der ehemaligen SODECO-Fabrik stehen uns nicht nur einzigartige Arbeitsr\u00e4ume zur Verf\u00fcgung; wir leben und gestalten auch die Geschichte unseres Viertels weiter und geben einem Bestandteil des Architektur- und Industrieerbes vom Anfang des 20.
